As Africa warms up for the kickoff of this year’s African Cup of Nations (AFCON) holding in Cote d’Ivoire, football loving Nigerians have mixed feelings about the performance of their team, the Super Eagles at the continental fiesta. While many are hopeful of impressive performance, others remain pessimistic based on recent performnaces of the team.
However, Nigerians will have the opportunity of being the judge themselves when the competition starts on Saturday.
Although there were initial worries about the transmission of the 52 matches in across the country, major TV companies have since made a u-turn to beam the matches directly to the screens of millions of Nigerians who will be interetsed in following their team, the Super Eagles.
