Popular Crossdresser, Idris Okuneye a.k.a Bobrisky has been sentenced to six months in jail with no option of fine for the offence of abusing the naira.
Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos promunced the jail term on Friday morning at the resumed trial of Bobrisky.
Recall that Bobrisky had pleaded guilty to the offense when he first appeared before justice Awogboro last week. He was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Thursday, April 4, and arraigned the following day for a six-count charge of money laundering and abuse of naira.
But the court dismissed the money laundering while focusing on the offence of Naira Abuse.
