Senator representing Lagos East at the National Assembly, Senator Tokunbo Abiru has assured the Arewa community in his senatorial district of an all inclusive representation in the senatorial district .
Hon Oladapo Ibikunle, Special Adviser to Abiru on Constituency matter stated this at a get-together program organized by the Arewa community in Kosofe local government area of the state on Sunday .
Ibikunle said “the arewa people have always stood behind us in everything we do, they are always supporting us with their votes , advise and also loyalty in the party , that is why we will continue to carry them along in our program,”
He also urged them to take advantage of the S.A.I.L project that help to empower the youth on ICT trading and skill acquisition, adding that the senator is committed in making the youth of his senatorial district one among the best in the world in term of ICT , as more programs that will get the Arewa community more slot will be coming up soon .
Meanwhile, the director General of Arewa community for Tokunbo Abiru, Alhaji Shehu Usman Jubrin commended the senator for his plan and purpose for Arewa community under his senatorial district , according to him, “Senator Tokunbo Abiru is a super senator that have always carried the Arewa community under his senatorial district along in every programmes that they organize, recently we were given 250 forms in Empowerment program which all our people were duly given, also during palliative we were giving bags of foodstuffs and money which have kept our people together in the renew hope agenda , we shall continue to support him even as he keep remembering us”
Chairman Arewa community APC Lagos state Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf also appreciated the senator for his attributes both on the floor of NASS and his people, mostly the Arewa community, he assured him that the Arewa community across the senatorial district will continue to pray and support him in his endeavor.
Sa’adu challenged other senator to emulate the good tide of the people senator in Lagos east as he charged his executive to get acquinted with their representative in the various Constituencies and senatorial districts which is very paramount in uniting the people in the state .
The program was also witnessed by the Arewa community state executive, Alhaji Umaru Daura, Deputy, Alhaji Gidado bello , Secretary, Alhaji Abubakar Kudu deputy secretary, Hajiya Fatima Bako state woman Leader and representative of the Board of trustee Alhaji Dandama Yabo.
Cash , foodstuff and other materials were presented to the people as from the 5 senatorial district and it’s lcdas .
