Veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu has allegedly had his legs amputated.
Social media activist, VeryDarkMan (VDM) made this known on Monday.
According to VDM, a reliable source close to the actor informed him of the development.
He said Mr Ibu’s leg was cut off today (Monday) and urged his fans, and well-wishers to pray for the ailing actor.
ThisNigeria reported that Mr Ibu has appealed to Nigerians to come to his aid financially as he revealed that he suffered from an illness that could lead to amputation of his legs.
Some well-meaning Nigerians including Bukola Saraki and Davido came to the actor’s aid.
