In view to cushion the economy hardship in Lagos state today a sub national in the state have joined other responsive sector to help alleviate the peoples burden in transportation sector. The Kosofe local government area, Lagos is set to resume his free transport service across the local government area.
The popular Kosofe free shuttle buses, a key component of the Kosofe Cares Initiative spearheaded by Executive Chairman Barr Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, is set to resume his services on Monday, August 12, according to a ress statement release by the chief press secretary to the executive Chairman, Mr Olawile Obisanya ” The service had been temporarily suspended due to Security and the nationwide protests that lasted for four days .
Residents across the seven wards of Kosofe Local Government Area – Oworonsoki, Ifako/Gbagada, Anthony, Mende, Ojota, and Ogudu – will once again benefit from this free transportation service that moves across the LGA Simeothanously which aims is to ease the burden of commuters in the communities .
The resumption of this free service marks a return to normalcy and demonstrates the local government’s commitment to supporting its constituents, All Commuters are encouraged to take advantage of this free service between 7am and 10am with a return journey between 4pm and 7pm. This is expected to significantly reduce transportation costs and improve mobility within the local government area for residents.
