The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially recognized the faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee backed by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
The electoral body confirmed the development on Monday through its official website, where it published the updated leadership structure of the opposition party.
According to the list, Abdulrahman Mohammed is recognized as National Chairman, while Samuel Anyanwu retains his position as National Secretary. Other members of the party’s national leadership were also listed.
Both Mohammed and Anyanwu emerged as leaders during the PDP National Convention held on Sunday night at the Velodrome of the National Stadium in Abuja.
