Chairman of the Sam Anisulowo Foundation, , Dr Sam Olawale Anisulowo has rolled out drums to celebrate an additional feather on his cap, after earning a Master’s degree in Information Technology (with Merit) from the University of the West of England (UWE), Bristol. This new accomplishment adds to his impressive academic portfolio, which already includes two Bachelor’s degrees—one in Criminology and Security Studies, and another in Political Science—as well as a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Nigerian universities.
Over the years, Dr. Anisulowo has dedicated himself to empowering Nigerians through his foundation’s extensive scholarship programmes and other empowerment initiatives.
The graduation ceremony captured moments of heartfelt connection with those who have supported him throughout his academic journey.
Reflecting on his academic path, Dr. Anisulowo described it as a testament to determination and the power of collective support. He acknowledged the roles played by several individuals in his success, including his academic tutor, who provided invaluable guidance and support, and his supervisor, whose mentorship significantly enhanced his research skills. He also expressed deep gratitude to one of his lecturers for their consistent encouragement during challenging times.
“The journey was not easy,” he said. “But with determination and God’s grace, I was able to achieve this goal. This milestone is proof that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Education remains the key, and as youths, we must embrace both formal and informal education as tools for transformation.”
Dr. Anisulowo also extended heartfelt appreciation to his wife, Mrs. Bukky Anisulowo, and their children for their immense support and understanding throughout this period.
