A frontline aspirant for the Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency seat, Hon. Motunrayo Adijat Adeleye, has formally declared her ambition ahead of the 2027 general election.
Adeleye made the declaration at a meeting with party executives and stakeholders at Ajuwon/Akute Ward 6 in Ifo Local Government Area.
She said launching her aspiration at her ward underscored her grassroots connection and commitment to inclusive leadership and community-driven development.
Addressing party faithful, she described her ambition as a call to service, driven by responsibility, experience and a desire to deliver effective representation.
Adeleye said her decision was in response to constituents’ demands for equitable development and leadership that reflects the diversity and needs of the constituency.
She expressed appreciation to the Ogun State governor for her appointment as commissioner and support in executing her duties.
The aspirant outlined plans to prioritise economic empowerment, job creation and support for small businesses, especially for youths and women.
She also pledged to promote vocational training, attract investments and advocate policies that would stimulate local industries and reduce poverty.
Adeleye reaffirmed commitment to inclusive governance, promising open communication and participatory representation that reflects the voices and aspirations of constituents.
