If you are traveling through the Sagamu-Benin expressway or its environs this weekend, spare some tme to read this news. Travelers have been advised to find alternative routes to this area due to a fire outbreak which has blocked the road.
Oyesanya Oluwamuyiwa of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) in a statement said if it becomes inevitable to travel that route, motorists should be prepared for traffic diversion.
“There’s a fire outbreak involving two ladened trucks few meters after Odogbolu express junction, inward Ijebu Ode, along Sagamu–Benin expressway.
“Traffic seriously affected as motorists are diverted to the other lane from Odogbolu express junction down to multiple bridge, where they will return to their normal lane.
“Fire service personnel and Papa Oscar contacted already, while TRACE operatives are on ground directing vehicular movement” Oluwamuyiwa disclosed.
