Religious leaders and clergymen need to compliment the federal and state government in nation building as part of humanity policy that will help to reduce the hardship in the country today .
These advise came from the heel of Lagos base Clergy Prophet Godwin lkuru, founder Jehovah eyes salvation Ministry Lagos. Prophet Ikuru speaking to journalists at his office in lkeja on Saturday , state that ” Nigerian Pastors, bishops, Muslim clergy’s should join in the fight against hardship in the country , when you preach to someone with empty stomach after collecting tithe and offering, what do you expect your congregation to eat” Nothing,so I urge the pastors to do giveaway to the members , both in cash , foodstuff and materials”.
He further , advise the clergy men to emulate Late Pastor Temitope Joshua , of the synagogue church , who gives out food stuffs and things to the vulnerable in cushioning the hardship in the economy,also he urged them to look beyond exotic cars and jet planes but to empower its members respectively.
The hall of Fame Prophet also called on the Federal government to ensure price control in product and service are activated so as to regulate prices of commodities in the market space which will correspond to the income of an average workers , He said ” President Bola Ahmed Tinubu should look critically in the agency in charge price control because commodities soar everyday , which is affecting a common man in the country today .
Prophet Ikuru appeal to the youth to consider another avenue instead of protest that will be hijacked and inflate more pains and injury to the one we are nursing , he said ” in everything we should add humanity because it is the best aspect of life , if we consider ourselves in hardship time not fighting or harassing ourselves , because a hungry Man is truly a angry man.”
