Remo Land stood still on Friday as newly crowned Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Remo Stars, took their victory beyond the pitch in a triumphant trophy parade that united the region in joy and celebration.
Fresh from clinching their first-ever NPFL title with three games to spare, the Sky Blue Stars rolled through major towns in Remo Land, including Ikenne, Sagamu, and Ode, in a colourful motorcade that echoed pride, passion, and promise.
Starting promptly at 9 a.m., thousands of jubilant fans flooded the streets, waving flags, donning club jerseys, and chanting club anthems. The players, coaches, and club executives rode open-roof buses, hoisting the glittering NPFL trophy high in a moment that will be etched in local football folklore for years to come.
“This parade isn’t just a victory lap; it’s a tribute to the passion of Remo people, the commitment of the club, and the unbreakable bond between fans and football,” the club said in a pre-parade statement, and the emotion on the streets proved every word true.

Founded in 2010, Remo Stars’ rise from amateur ranks to league champions in just over a decade is a testament to visionary leadership and deep community roots. This season, under the stewardship of coach Daniel Ogunmodede, they delivered consistent performances that stunned pundits and thrilled fans.
In their message of gratitude, the club acknowledged the role of supporters. “We have won games, drawn some, and lost others, but your support has been unwavering… Thank you for the awesome coverage and belief in our journey.”
As horns blared, drums echoed, and confetti flew, the celebration symbolised more than football glory — it reflected a dream realised for a region hungry for recognition on the national stage. Local youth groups, traditional leaders, and schoolchildren joined the procession, turning the parade into a festival of culture and unity.
From grassroots football to national glory, Remo Stars have become the heartbeat of a people, and on this unforgettable Friday, Remo Land roared together, not just in celebration, but in pride.
