The Customs Area Controller of Ogun II Command, Olushola Akingbade, has sought for synergy and collaboration from stakeholders of the Free Trade Zone and excise traders.
Akingbade spoke during a maiden engagements with the stakeholders’ which was contained in a statement on Saturday in Abeokuta by the command’s spokesperson, Dauda Adamu.
According to Adamu, the meeting took place on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.
In her address, Akingbade commended the stakeholders for their past cooperation with his predecessor and urged them to extend the same support to her administration.
She emphasised that her leadership would maintain an open-door policy.
She assured stakeholders that they were always welcome to present their challenges and concerns.
Responding, the stakeholders expressed delight at her appointment, describing her leadership as one that would embody “motherly care.”
They pledged their full support and cooperation in working with the controller to achieve the command’s core mandate of revenue generation and trade facilitation.
