A high chief of the ancient town of Iseyin kingdom and highest ranking Chief among the kingmakers in Iseyin has died. High Chief Raheem Adelodun passed on thursday morning while receiving treatment at at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan.
Although details of his burial have not been announced, his remains are likely to be buried before sunset on thursday, after the completion of all neccesary rites.
Iseyinland is a major town in the Oke-Ogun division of Oyo state and the fourth largest city in the state, after Ibadan, Ogbomoso and Oyo. The town is under the traditional authority of the Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Sefiu Oyebola Adeyeri III, Ajirotutu I who was recently installed as the monarch of the kingdom.
