The Comptroller of Nigeria Immigration Services , Lagos state Command , Alagbon , Ikoyi have called on the arewa community in Lagos to be pro active in the affairs of security within their community.
Comptroller David Oluwole Adebambo of Lagos Command gave the call at a courtesy invites of the Leadership of arewa community able lead by their Chairman Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf Gulma at the state command , Adebambo stress that Lagos state government is so concerned about the security of lives and properties in the state , also the level of non Nigerians indigenes coming into the state is giving the state and service a point of concerned .
” We are concerned about the in flock of unknown faces , and non indigenes without any form of identity to Lagos state , that is why we called on the arewa community in Lagos to brainstorm and also to sensitize in collaborating with you in order to give us intelligent reports on these unidentified people coming into the state by trailers ,all in the name of Hausa “.
He urged the leaders of arewa community to join in the sanity of Lagos state by giving the necessary information to relevant security stakeholders that will help boost security in their different location and Communities .
In his remark the chairman of arewa community APC Lagos Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf promises to work vehemently with the Comptroller as he also describes the meeting as a right step in a right direction, he request that the Comptroller should seek the assistant of the various state government to work on the residential identity at their different states
” We as body in Lagos have our means of identification which has made us more organized since my resumption as arewa Chairman, also we have worked tediously to bring our people together including the beggars , so they can have guarantor and means of identification, because we are so engrossed with Lagos state laws and our people have being educated base on the laws of Lagos “.
The chairman promises the service of full assurance in communicating with the relevant people or arewa leaders in Lagos for a better collaboration .
