Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated Tunde Onakoya, Nigerian chess master who just broke the Guinness World Record for longest chess marathon.
Onakoya broke the previous world record set held by the duo of Hallvard Haug Flatebø and Sjur Ferkingstad from Norway in 2018. Their record stands at 56 hours, 9 minutes and 37 seconds.
Speaking through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Sanwoolu said Onakoya’s remarkable story showed that with determination, dreams can indeed soar to monumental heights.
