The kingdom of Isheri Olofin in Alimosho local government area in Lagos state have applauded the kingmakers and chiefs for resulting a good and Capable Candidate for the Royal stool .
It will be recalled that the Oba of Isheri Olofin Late Oba Wahab Balogun passed on few years ago which requires the community to appoint a replacement for the Royal stool in continuity of the achievement of the late king .
Hence , a reagent was appointed to supervise the activities of the Palace pending the selection of the Candidate that will succeed the throne .
Meanwhile, some stakeholders of the kingdom have come out to caution the kingmakers to be conscious of their selection as they as warned that anyone with questionable character, will not and can not ascend the throne , according to a a chief of the kingdom
“We are aware some people have being pushing someone that is not part of us to ascend our royal stool, we will not allow it happen because we can not afford to commit the custodian of the people to someone with questionable character, dubious and arrogant, our pride is to see the achievement of our Late Oba wahab Balogun continue, so our people will continue to enjoy the good work that have being placed on ground “.
The Oluomo of Isheri Olofin kingdom Hon Prince Idris Balogun have called on the people of Isheri Olofin kingdom to be calm as he is optimistic the new Oba Elect will continue and innovate new trend that will continue to link the people of Isheri kingdom with the Lagos state government and the renew hope of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in his statement ” we are confident that Prince Akeem Akanji Ogundeyi Ayesanmi Olanwa will deliver and maintain the good deed of our father , we have duly consulted far and wide as we found out he is the man that is fit to lead our people and sustain the stride of our late father , he said .
Traditional rites were performed in respectively to usher the new Oba elect into the stool of his father’s as state government is set to hand over the status of authority in the coming days .
