The Battle For The Young (BAFTY) Movement of Peace House, an international and interdenominational Christian ministry based in Nigeria’s North Central City of Gboko, has announced March 16 as the release date for the fifth sequel of its critically acclaimed movie series: EVIDENCE.
The fifth part, subtitled REWARDS, eventually unties the knot for most of the characters as they finally learn to look less on the outside for the answers to the challenges that have bugged them for so long.
A good example is Emily, who finds true satisfaction only after giving her life to Christ, which sparks off a chain of events including reconciliation with her parents. Emily goes so far as to pay her father a visit at the hospital – even helping with his recovery from trauma and eventually leading him to Christ. She also pays her mother a visit, who had by now remarried, and introduces the couple to Christ.
On the other hand, Jake plans to take Phil and Trisha down for crashing his music business. Thelma attacks Trisha during her performance. Jake attacks Phil’s studio.
The premier is scheduled for 7PM GMT on YouTube.
As in the first four parts, viewers within and beyond the movie-going church world have a storyline in REWARDS that stays faithful to the battle of choice every human heart must deal with some day – whether to choose God or the god of self.
The movie offers a refreshingly unique revelation not just into the lives of young people and the forces they battle against, but, more importantly, the weapons they choose in fighting against the enemies of their destiny.
Drawing a rich team of dynamic artists for cast, the series is shot in locations across Nigeria and serves as a cinematic portrayal of the theme of a booklet titled Battle For The Young, by Gbile Akanni, a Nigerian Bible teacher and author, that is presently circulating freely all over the world in about six languages including French, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Arabic.
