President Bola Tinubu will travel to Lagos on SUnday (today) in preparation for the Muslim festival, Eid-el-Fitr which is celebrated to mark the end of the annual fasting season, -Ramadan.
Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale who disclosed the information however did not state when the President will return to Abuja. He said Mr Tinubu will observe the moment in prayers for Nigeria and with family.
“In deference to the solemn occasion, which marks the end of Ramadan, the President will observe the moment in prayers for Nigeria and with family. “The President will continue official duties during and after the Eid-el-Fitr holidays.” Ngelale wrote in a statement
As is the tradition, President Tinubu will be observing the eid prayers at the Dodan Barracks in Ikoyi.
