A governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Amofin Beulah Adeoye, has officially obtained his nomination form to contest for the top seat in Oyo State ahead of the 2027 general election.
In a statement issued after picking up the form at the PDP Secretariat in Abuja, Adeoye described the move as a decisive step in what he called “our shared journey toward a greater Oyo State.”
He said his ambition goes beyond mere political aspiration, noting that the form represents a deeper commitment to continue the struggle for the industrialisation and economic transformation of the state.
“Building on the progress already made, we must now unlock more of Oyo State’s vast potential and take development to the next level,” Adeoye said.
He highlighted that Oyo State is blessed with fertile lands, hardworking people, a strategic location and endless opportunities.
“What we need now is the courage to move from consumption to production, from dependency to development, and from potential to prosperity,” he added.

The aspirant called on all who believe in the future of Oyo State to support his vision, stressing that a better Oyo is the collective responsibility of every citizen.
“From Oke-Ogun to Ibadan, from Ogbomoso to Ibarapa, from Oyo to every community across the state, we all have a role to play in building the future we desire,” he said.
Adeoye outlined his priorities to include building industries, strengthening agriculture, expanding infrastructure, creating jobs, and opening new pathways for young people to thrive.
“The journey has started, and there is no turning back. Together, we will build an Oyo State driven by vision, courage, action and execution,” he said
