The management and staff of The City Pulse Group have extended their heartfelt condolences to veteran journalist and media icon, Otunba Femi Davies, following the death of his beloved mother, Deaconess Bolajoko Idowu (née Showemimo), who passed away at the age of 78 on July 4, 2025.
In an official condolence message personally signed by the Managing Director/CEO of The City Pulse Group, Mr. Ayoyemi Mojoyinola, the organization expressed deep sorrow over the loss and described the late Deaconess Idowu as a matriarch whose life was marked by grace, compassion, and resilience.

He prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased and offered unwavering support to the Davies family during this period of mourning.
