TVC Communications has confirmed the resignation of Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Managing Director of TVC Entertainment and long-time host of the station’s flagship talk show, Your View. Her departure marks the end of a 12-year journey that helped shape the all-women’s programme into a household name.
In a statement released by the company and obtained by TheWest Newspaper, Morayo’s last day at the station will be Thursday, August 29, 2025. Her exit, the statement said, is to allow her pursue a long-held personal project she has nurtured over the years.
“Morayo’s decision to step down… is driven by her desire to pursue a long-held passion project,” the statement read. “We celebrate her for the incredible impact she has made, not only on Your View, but also to millions of viewers across Nigeria and beyond.”
TVC praised her contributions to the brand and reassured viewers that while she will be missed, Your View will continue as usual.
“We thank Morayo for her years of service, impact and inspiration and we wish her the very best in this new and exciting chapter,” said Edward Akintara, Manager of PR, Corporate Communications & Marketing at TVC Communications.
The company urged the public and media to continue to support Morayo as she embarks on her new journey.
