The duo of popular singer, Azeez Fashola, a.k.a Naira Marley and show promoter, Balogun Eletu a.k.a Sam Larry have been granted bail from their incarceration since October 6 for their alleged indictment in circumstances leading to the death of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.
A Magistrate court in Yaba, on Monday granted them bail in the sum of N20m with three responsible duties, requesting the two men to deposit their international passports while they report to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, every week.
The Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun suggested some individuals have been making efforts to reach out to her privately as she warned that nobody should approach her, personally over the matter.
She said “Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.
Mohbad who was a member of the Marlians Records, owned by Naira Marley died under suspicious circumstances on 12th September 2023. Before his death, there were allegations of bully and physical assaults by his former record labels and Sam Larry.
