Lagos state Park and Garage Authority LASPGA State Chairman, Oba Oniba, Dr. Suleiman Adeshina Oniba Ekun meets with his counterpart chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) over illegal toll collection on Lagos/Badagry expressway on Tuesday in Lagos .
The meeting which harped on activities of alleged multiple illegal truck toll collection on Lagos/Badagry expressway by the unions was described as illegal that won’t give a reputabke name to the unions and the government , Oba Oniba said,
“We need to find lasting solution in these menace by inviting all executive stakeholders to a meeting over the lingering issues between Lagos state parks and Garages Administrators, (LASPGA) and National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).”
He stressed that with these act the people and Lagos state government will see the sector as a role model for peace and unity in the state
In his commenting, the Chairman NURTW, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, (MC Oluomo) promised to engage his sector internally so as to find permanent solutions to the issues, as he suggested a ten men committees to be set up from both unions that will thoroughly investigate some of the illegal actions in which report and recommendations will be deliberated when submitted to the house .
Meanwhile, the twice recommended their union on the self discipline, and co existence between their union as they assured them a lasting solution that will attract more support from the government both in state and federal .
The west .ng gather that the meeting was done privately with all the unions officials from Lagos /Badagry axis .
