Lagos State All Progressive Congress Party has organised the 2nd Ramadan Public Lecture for the general Muslim faithfuls, without leaving other tribes behind, including Yoruba, Igbos and the Arewas featured at the event in multitudes.
This was jointly observed on Thursday, at the APC Secretariat Acme Ogba, Lagos State.
Speaking as the Lecturer 1, Sheikh Amir Ikhwan Awwal exhorted the Muslims who participated at the lecture, on the topic tagged “Holding Unto Our Faith In This Perilous Time”
While he mentioned that perilous time is a real hard time when many things seemed not working for human being, and it is the time when the people will start saying there is no God.
Therefore, he outlined the God understandable way a Muslim can manage his/her faith during the perilous time for God to answer our prayers, when we embrace the act of being patient, persevere,contentment and humility. He quoted Quran Chapter 21:3 to back it up.
He expressed further that Human factor is the problem of Nigeria today upon how blessed we are in the nation than some other countries.

Lagos APC Holds 2nd Ramadan Lecture, As Cleric Amir Awwal Tasks Muslims To Manage Their Faith With Perseverance And Contentment

Also, he pinpointed how Saudi Arabia suffer the raining season and it’s appearance today, because in this Country they must call upon the Lord in prayers before the rain can fall and when it falls, it appears in excess.
However, Nigerians must start to change their thinking to pray for the nation and avoid abusing the President of the nation,Bola Ahmed Tinubu that he is the reason of his hardship.
Meanwhile, we need to understand that your well being and promotion is in God’s hands and not human being and the Leaders of the nation. He said.
He said also, that let everyone one fasting recognize this month as the month of repentance and forgiveness to encourage more in doing good to your Neighbors and one another.
Because no matter how Rich you are, and many houses you have, with all the greatness of the Almighty God, the current generation will pass away and other ones will come.
Again, he prayed for the Nigeria President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s peace and progress and for God to lead him aright at the same time tapped from his honor to be spread across other generation.
The Chairman of the Lagos State All Progressive Congress party, Pastor Hon. Cornelius Oyefolu Ojelabi recognized the presence of the Islamic Clerics at the event, and the Governor’s representative, the Commissioner of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Hon. Ibrahim Layode and Baba Olusi with Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe.
He charged everyone to remain faithful unto Allah, and observe the tenets of the Islamic religion in this period of Ramadan, and take an advantage of this period to promote peace and unity in Nigeria, through the act of sharing love among others without any discrimination .
You must not say that you are well fed, that you are careless if others are hungry, because if you show love to other and bless them,with this God will bless you in return. He cautioned.
He advised Nigerians to remain committed to the renewed hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and to cooperate also to enshrew corruption in our society.
