Governorship aspirant and philanthropist Otunba Emmanuel Fayose has called on the people of Ekiti State to prioritize electing a governor with the intellectual capacity to deliver focused and effective leadership.
In a statement personally signed in London and shared with journalists in Abuja on Thursday, Fayose highlighted his educational background, noting he holds postgraduate degrees in Politics, International Relations, and Artificial Intelligence from various UK universities.
He emphasized that his qualifications, combined with his vision for the state, would be leveraged to improve governance and bring much-needed development to the people of Ekiti.
“I have always been very intentional in my approach to life,” he said. “For me, acquisition of knowledge has always been my passion, and this informs my decision to pursue further studies, which has led to what I achieved recently.”
Fayose underscored the importance of technology in driving progress, arguing that Ekiti must embrace digital innovation. “The world is now technology-driven, and Ekiti State cannot be an exception. You can imagine how we can use AI technology to change Ekiti’s fortunes,” he stated.
Criticizing the current administration, Fayose remarked, “The world has gone digital, but sadly, the current Ekiti Government is still in analogue mode. But with us, a lot of things will change.”
He reassured the people of Ekiti of his readiness to lead with dedication and integrity, promising to make them proud if given the opportunity to serve.
